Office Partitions, Tour Operator

Introduction

When Avent Interiors were approached by Just Go Holidays, a leading provider of package holidays, they were excited to expand their portfolio of clients into Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The main objective of the project was to update their office space with partitions. This was to be achieved by improving both the functionality and appearance whilst also making sure to futureproof. The idea was to craft a workspace which was modern and efficient, boosted productivity, improved employee comfort and reflected the company’s brand.

 Client Background and Challenges

Just Go Holidays specialises in offering escorted tours and holidays for the over-55s across the UK and Europe. As the company expanded rapidly, their existing office could no longer meet their requirements. The space had become outdated with an inefficient layout. It also had inadequate meeting facilities and a need for a general refresh of communal areas. Avent Interiors was chosen for the project due to their strong track record of delivering high-quality office interior projects, along with their ability to work within tight deadlines without compromising on quality.

Project Goals and Requirements

The overarching aim of the project was a redesign of the office layout which would rework the space to include open-plan workspaces, private meeting rooms and a breakout area. Just Go Holidays wanted a design which would reflect the brand they had put so much work into making recognisable to their target demographic. They also wanted to create an environment which both staff and visitors would feel welcome in. Along with these requirements from the client, the project needed to meet industry standards for safety and sustainability whilst balancing modern elements such as glazed partitions and durable flooring. Additional priorities included improving acoustics, maximising natural light, and optimising workflow.

Solution and Implementation

Avent Interiors dismantled the existing partitions on the first floor and installed 32.5 linear metres of glass and solid partitions. These created breakout areas, two new offices, a meeting room, and a comms room. Where possible, Avent Interiors reused materials such as timber doors to support sustainability. New timber and glass doors were added to give the space a sleek, modern look.

The flooring was upgraded using Burmatex Tivoli Dominica Dawn carpet tiles in the office areas, with Aruba Dusk used in the desk areas. A standout walkway made from Burmatex Tivoli Mist Tiki tiles with South Beach borders was installed to guide movement through the space. Vinyl flooring was added in high-traffic areas for extra durability.

Suspended ceilings were fitted to improve acoustics, along with integrated lighting and ventilation systems which were installed to enhance comfort. Laminated glass partitions allowed for optimal light distribution while still providing privacy and soundproofing in the meeting rooms and offices. Avent Interiors worked closely with Just Go Holidays’ in-house team to ensure the final result balanced both aesthetics and functionality.

Results and Client Feedback

The fit out transformed Just Go Holidays’ office into a modern, organised space that significantly improved employee satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
