Avent Interiors were approached by ALS Dental to construct a laboratory area in their new premises in central Bristol. Bristol CADCAM who ALS Dental had acquired some time before Avent Interiors were approached had previously been working form 3 separate units which has been knocked through to create one large one. They decided to sign the lease for one new large premises which is where Avent Interiors were contacted. The main goal of the projects was to utilise a large area of space under a pre-existing mezzanine floor to create four new areas.
Client Background and Challenges
ALS Dental has been expanding over the UK in recent years and this project came off the back of them acquiring the company Bristol CADCAM. ALS Dental is creating Europe’s most innovative dental manufacturing business by acquiring top labs in crown and bridge, prosthetics and orthodontics. The main challenge the client faced with their existing space was utilisation of space and how it didn’t suit their plans for the facility.
