September has been a productive month for Avent Interiors, marked by two major charity events, a significant project completion and a healthy pipeline of upcoming work. We have completed the last month of Q3 in a strong position and are over the moon to enter Q4 with clear momentum and a strong pipeline of work ahead.

Grief Encounter Charity Golf Day

Looking back to the start of this month, our team was delighted to join Exacta Technologies Ltd and Grief Encounter for their charity golf day, hosted at The Manor House Golf Club. The venue was stunning, and it made a fitting backdrop for a day built around a very worthwhile cause. Grief Encounter supports bereaved children, young people and their families, giving them the care and guidance they need after the loss of a loved one. It’s vital work, and we were proud to play our part in raising money to help the charity continue it.

As always, our golf was questionable at times, but the day was about much more than scorecards. It gave us a great chance to connect with partners and businesses from across the region, share a few stories on the course and enjoy some good company along the way. Thank you to Exacta Technologies Ltd for organising such a well run event, to The Manor House Golf Club for their hospitality and to everyone who gave their time and support. We’re already looking forward to the next one, and we’ll try to get some practice in before then.

Fit Out Complete for Wards Solicitors in Yate

We’re delighted to announce we have completed our fit out project for Ward’s Solicitors, a returning client we’re always excited to work with and support through their growth.

This project started well before we were on site. Over several months we worked with the Ward’s team on the fit out design, making the most of their space and shaping a layout that suits how they work day to day. After the original, left over fit out was stripped out, our team carried out a comprehensive programme of works, including:

  • Solid and glazed partitioning to form meeting rooms, collaboration space and WCs
  • New joinery throughout, including doors, skirting and IPS ducting
  • A full decoration package
  • A new teapoint with integrated appliances
  • A complete refit of the WCs and accessible WC
  • Air conditioning and fresh air ventilation
  • New lighting and fire alarm systems
  • Intruder alarm and data infrastructure, including a new comms cabinet and CAT6 points
  • New shopfront glazing to improve thermal and acoustic performance
  • New carpet tile flooring throughout
  • Full furniture installation

The result is a bright, modern and fully functional office. It gives the Wards Solicitor’s team a comfortable, professional place to work and to welcome clients, with the infrastructure to support the business for years to come. At Avent Interiors, returning clients make up a large part of our business, and being trusted again means a great deal to us.

Back in the Saddle for the BPAA Cyclosportive

We rounded out the month by being proud participants and sponsors of the Bristol Property Agents Association Cyclosportive, an annual event which looks to raise money for important causes. Our team who undertook the challenge consisted of George and Vicky, who represented us on the 42km route. This route ran from Keynsham out to the edge of the Southern Cotswolds, passing Dyrham Park and Marshfield, before finishing at Somerdale Pavilion.

As mentioned, we were proud to sponsor the day’s mechanical assistance, which kept almost 200 riders going across the 100km, 60km and 42km routes. The event raised money for Young Bristol and Alzheimer’s Research UK, two important causes we were delighted to support. Thank you to the BPAA, Bikefest and everyone who rode, volunteered and supported.

A New Client Who’s a Household Name

We’re delighted to announce that Avent Interiors has been appointed to refurbish the office space for Lea & Perrins in Worcestershire.

Lea & Perrins, for those who aren’t aware, is one of the most recognisable names in British food. Worcestershire sauce has been made in the city of Worcester for nearly two centuries, and it’s found in kitchens and pantries around the world. To be trusted with the workspace behind such an iconic brand is a real honour for our team.

This project also takes us beyond our usual patch. The majority of our work is in Bristol and the wider South West, so securing a project in Worcestershire, up against some more local fit out firms, is a proud moment for us.

The refurbishment will bring new life to the office. We’ll create a modern, comfortable workspace that respects the heritage of the brand and sets the team up for the future. The works include:

  • Three new glazed focus nooks with acoustic glass, oak slat wall panelling and reeded manifestations
  • Two refreshed meeting rooms with fluted wall panels, secondary glazing and new feature linear lighting
  • Bespoke etched Lea & Perrins acoustic wall panels, bringing the brand’s identity into the space
  • A new suspended ceiling throughout, with the existing skylights opened back up to let in more natural light
  • The original timber floor sanded and refinished in the main office
  • New power and data floor boxes, LED lighting and meeting room AV connections
  • New Daikin air conditioning, fire alarm upgrades and roller blinds throughout
  • A wooden pegwall feature, plus a full decoration and carpentry package

It’s a project with plenty of character. Bringing out the building’s original features while adding the brand’s own identity is exactly the kind of work our team enjoys.
