The month of July has been a busy and exciting time at Avent Interiors, marked by major developments across our sites, within our team, and in the broader community. From the glamour of award ceremonies to new projects, we’re thrilled to share our latest updates with you.
School’s Out but We’re Still In
While students are enjoying their summer holidays, we’ve been hard at work across the region, helping schools and colleges get ready for the new term.
Over the past month, we’ve supported a range of projects, from classroom and toilet refurbishments to gym flooring upgrades and specialist partitioning installations. Whether we’re creating calm, modern spaces for focused learning or more dynamic environments that inspire creativity, our goal is always the same: to help schools optimise their space.
Getting Involved in the Community – Purposeful Playoffs
Being a Bristol born business full of sports lovers we are beyond proud to have been sponsoring Community of Purpose throughout the year. Recently we had the privilege of taking part in our first event with the cause – The Purposeful Playoffs. The event brought together different schools from across Bristol to take part in a football tournament. Encouraging long lasting friendships which transcend socio-economic factors and backgrounds.
We also had the honour of attending the incredible Bristol Young Hero Awards which is a celebration of certain young people throughout Bristol. These individuals regularly go above and beyond for their families, friends or communities. It was a truly inspiring event.
Unitary Engineering Systems – Golf Event
As mentioned, this has been an extremely busy period for us. Despite this we still found time to attend a day of golf put on by UES. The day was a brilliant mix of light hearted competition, networking and some brilliant food. The course was in top condition and the spirit of the day didn’t fall short either.
It’s always a privilege to spend time with industry peers outside of the day-to-day. It’s great to spend time strengthening relationships and sharing a few laughs along the way. Our team went and did us proud by placing 11th out of 24. Huge shoutout to UES for hosting the event and to everyone who also attended.
