It’s 2026, and here at Avent Interiors, we’ve started it on the right foot. We’ve already established an exciting pipeline of projects throughout January. With teams mobilised on site and new instructions coming in, we’re looking forward to upping the levels once again. Continuing to solidify ourselves as a go-to main contractor in commercial fit out throughout the South West.
Bull Wharf, Bristol – CAT A+ Refurbishment Update
January has seen strong progress on our CAT A+ refurbishment of the 1st Floor at Bull Wharf, one of Bristol’s key waterside commercial locations. This project will revitalise the suite, creating a bright, modern and flexible office environment ready for prospective tenants.
Prior to the Christmas break, our team completed a substantial package of early-stage works, including:
- Initial dilapidations and strip-out works
- Installation of new partitioning
- Tape and jointing
- First fix electrics, containment, data and plumbing
Since returning to the site in January, works have continued at pace. Recent activity has included window spraying and the completion of detailed boardwork around the existing coffers. Intricate elements that require precision and attention to detail to achieve a high-quality finish.
Over the coming weeks, the project will really begin to take shape, with upcoming works including:
- Second fix electrics, data and plumbing
- Kitchen installation
- Painting and decorating
- Flooring installation
- Glazing installation
A key part of the brief for this project has been improving acoustics and privacy, particularly given the suite’s position above a busy reception area. Through the use of high-spec solid and glazed partitions, acoustic treatments and carefully considered layouts, the finished space will offer a comfortable, functional and future-ready working environment.
We’re looking forward to sharing the completed project once the final finishes are in place.
Hangar Project – A Unique Fit Out Underway
January has also seen us begin work on a more unconventional but equally exciting project. A fit out within an aircraft hangar for a private client.
This fit out is focused on constructing a testing facility within the pre-existing hangar. The facility needs to be highly functional and acoustically controlled. For this particular project our scope of works includes the construction of high acoustic spec partitioning, wall linings and a metal-framed acoustic ceiling. The project will be finished off with elements such as skirting, painting and acoustic carpet tiles.
We are over the moon to be working with this returning client on such a unique project. While it’s not our usual office or warehouse location, the principles remain the same. We will always strive for attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and ultimately deliver a space that performs exactly as the client needs it to.
We’re excited to see this space come together and will be sharing updates as works progress.
Welcoming a New Apprentice to the Team
Finally, we are delighted to have a new apprentice joining our experienced employed site team. Ashley has joined the team, wanting to learn everything he can while also getting real-world experience. As an apprentice interiors operative, he will learn the full scope of what we do, from partitioning to installing suspended ceilings.
At Avent Interiors we are proud to have a history of taking on apprentices and developing them into vital members of our team. We’re sure Ashley will grow to be a key part of what is going to be an incredibly busy year!
