Continuing with our promising start to the year, February has not disappointed. With the momentum provided by our January pipeline, we have again excelled throughout this month. This time we’re bringing you a major project completion, updates across live sites and a very exciting nomination!
Avent Interiors Shortlisted for Bristol Life Awards 2026!
In what’s already shaping up to be a fantastic year, we are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist for the 10th Anniversary Bristol Life Awards.
We have been announced as a finalist in the Interiors category. With a record number of nominations this year, it’s an honour to be recognised alongside so many other Bristol businesses. This nomination is particularly meaningful given the period of change we have completed over the past couple of years. Since our rebrand, we’ve made some brilliant hires, landed some major projects and continued to solidify our position as a go-to main contractor in the commercial interior scene across Bristol.
We’re really looking forward to celebrating this nomination with our fellow finalists!
Bull Wharf, Bristol – CAT A+ Refurbishment Project Completion
We’re thrilled to announce we’ve completed another incredible project: our office refurbishment of the 1st Floor Suite at Bull Wharf, Bristol. Over the past six weeks our team has delivered a comprehensive transformation that has completely revitalised this prominent unit adjacent to the building’s main reception area.
The original suite was dated and tired; it looked out of place against the more recently refurbished units within the rest of the building. The brief centred on creating a flexible workspace for end users, improving the arrival experience to the building, and enhancing acoustics and privacy for the tenant. From solid partitions extending to the concrete soffits to high-spec acoustic glass systems, every detail was carefully considered.
Goodmans Law, College Green – Project Commenced
February also saw us officially start on site at our latest project on College Green for Goodmans Financial Planning, and we’re pleased to report that the first week went exceptionally well.
Our team hit the ground running, successfully completing the construction of full-height partitioning to define the new meeting spaces and office layout. Tape and jointing works followed closely behind to ensure seamless wall finishes, while our electrical contractors completed all first-fix installations.
As we move through February, the project continues to progress on schedule. Current works include flooring installation throughout the premises, installation of doors and windows, and the first coat of paint beginning to bring the design to life. We’re maintaining our commitment to delivering the high-quality finish that we expect and we look forward to sharing completion photos in due course.
Hangar Project – Continuing A Unique Fit Out
Things have really taken off at our aircraft hangar project! As a reminder, this exciting instruction involves constructing a testing facility building within a larger pre-existing aircraft hangar. This will allow our client to work more closely with the projects they are assigned to.
Since our last update, the project has made significant progress. We have completed the initial boarding of the walls moved beyond tape and jointing and are now well into the decorating phase. Next up will be skirting, flooring and window installation before this unique space is handed over in its finished state.
This remains one of the more unconventional projects in our portfolio. However, standards apply – precision, quality craftsmanship and a space that performs exactly as the client needs it to. We can’t wait to bring you the final product.
Looking Ahead
February has set the tone for what promises to be an incredibly exciting year ahead. With projects completing to a high standard, new instructions gathering pace and recognition from the wider Bristol business community, we couldn’t be in a better position as we head into March.
