The first month of Q2 has been a busy one here at Avent Interiors. Alongside confirming a number of exciting new projects, we’ve also had the opportunity to attend an incredible awards evening.
Project Win: SRA Architects, Bath
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been appointed to help deliver a new workplace fit out in Bath. Working closely with the SRA Architects team, we’ll be delivering a coordinated package of partitioning and bespoke carpentry works. The scheme has been carefully designed to support the needs of a growing architectural practice while boosting collaboration and productivity.
Our portion of the works includes the installation of approximately 34 linear metres of full-height solid and glazed partitioning. These works will form a new meeting room, boardroom, kitchen and tea point area, as well as a dedicated server room. To support privacy and acoustic performance, targeted acoustic treatments will be incorporated throughout key areas of the workspace.
Alongside the partitioning works, we’ll also be undertaking a range of bespoke carpentry elements. These include the installation of client-supplied kitchen units and shelving, a custom low-level boardroom cabinet, and Naturewall oak acoustic panelling.
We’re looking forward to getting on site shortly and delivering another high-quality commercial interior in a historical city.
Bristol Life Awards 2026 – A Family Snap
We’ve recently received the photos from the 10th Anniversary Bristol Life Awards 2026 and this one perfectly captures the moment.
Pictured together on the night are Mark, Colby and Otto Avent, representing Avent Interiors as finalists in the property category. For us, it was a proud occasion and a real milestone moment, marking how far the business has come over the past few years.
Being in the room with so many inspiring Bristol businesses was a reminder of the strength and ambition across the region. The evening was a brilliant opportunity to step back, reflect on a period of significant growth and enjoy celebrating alongside fellow finalists, clients and peers from across the city.

Project Win: Specialist Aircraft Hangar Fit Out
We’re delighted to confirm our appointment on a major aircraft hangar fit out project for a returning private client.
Following a series of successful projects together, most recently another project within an aircraft hangar, we have again been instructed by this returning client. This latest scheme represents a larger, more technically complex and ambitious undertaking. Having secured the lease of a substantial hangar shell, our client approached us with the challenge of transforming a vast, undeveloped space. The end goal? A fully operational facility capable of supporting specialist aircraft testing operations.
Working closely with the client team, we’ve developed a comprehensive strategy to deliver a fully serviced, compliant and highly functional environment, designed to meet demanding technical and operational requirements.
Our scope of works includes the following:
- Full strip-out and enabling works, including the removal of legacy services
- Design-led space planning, structural coordination and project management
- Installation of a large multi-tier structural mezzanine with public access stairs and safety systems
- Extensive fire-rated and acoustic partitioning to form offices, meeting rooms and operational areas
- Comprehensive drylining, fire protection and ceiling systems
- Full M&E installation, including LV distribution, high-bay and emergency lighting, data and AV infrastructure, fire alarm systems, access control and security
- Mechanical systems, including VRV air conditioning, fresh air ventilation and extract
- Complete hangar floor refurbishment with high-performance resin flooring and clearly defined walkways
- High-quality office and welfare fit-out, including kitchens, tea points and meeting rooms
- New and refurbished bathrooms, showers and changing facilities
- External and courtyard works, including entrance improvements, cladding repairs and service enclosures
The completed facility will provide a safe, efficient and fully operational environment, supporting specialist testing, operational requirements and day-to-day use.
