While we help shape the cultures of other businesses through our workplace fit out and refurbishment services, we can honestly say that our company culture is pretty special and it’s something we are very proud of.

Office Team

Otto Avent

Managing Director

A keen rugby fan and ex-player Otto is our Managing Director who leads the daily charge. On a mission to create a legacy for our family business, he guides the business through the ever-changing business landscape.

Mark Avent

Founder

Long-suffering Bristol Rovers fan and cider lover, Mark was our Founder and Managing Director for 17 years. With over 30 years’ experience in the construction sector, Mark is a wealth of knowledge and is still very much involved in the day-to-day.

Colby Avent

Director

What Colby doesn’t know about partition and ceiling systems isn’t worth knowing. The company’s first-ever apprentice, serving 14 years on the tools, he now utilises his experience within pre-construction and operations as Director.

Will James

Contracts Manager

Our Contracts Manager, Will makes sure all of our sites run smoothly day-to-day. Starting with us as a labour-only sub-contractor many moons ago, Will has been here since the very early days, progressing to site supervisor, then site manager and now contracts manager.

Victoria Sayer

Senior Designer

Fitness mad dog lover Vicki can often be found training for Hyrox. When she isn’t in the gym, she’s busy taking your concept and making it a reality. With over 8 years’ experience in commercial interiors, her designs are functional while also being stunning to look at.

Hannah Baber

Office Manager

A queen of admin and organisation, Office Manager Hannah ensures the company remains compliant and stays on track. She is often at the forefront of process improvements. She’s not a bad baker either!

Chris Sands

Project Manager

Managing projects across the South West, Chris is used to working in a team. On the weekends he can be found playing for local Saturday football side Hanham Abbtonians. Chris also loves to travel. His most recent adventure? Travelling around Australia, Thailand and the Philippines at the end of 2025.

Tony Bryant

Furniture Sales Manager

Heading up our furniture offering, as well as being a keen Star Wars fan. Tony is a Jedi when it comes to Office & Workplace Furniture after having more than 20 years in the game.

Bob Pearse

Small Works Contracts Manager

Bob has been in the construction game for 36 years, working his way up on site from a tradesman to site management. In the last 7 years Bob has turned his hand to construction management. A committed man, Bob has also followed Rovers for 45 years, proving he can handle the ups and downs of a local team.

Joe Burman

Marketing Coordinator

Heading up our marketing efforts, Joe is often found on site annoying our site operatives trying to document the process. He’s also known to write some decent case studies and runs a mean LinkedIn page. (Follow us!)

George Owen

Project Coordinator

Cheeky chappy and protein shake enthusiast George is our Project Coordinator. Helping with all aspects of a project from initial enquiry to handover, George really is a Swiss army human.

Making everyone in the office laugh and more importantly that all the team are paid, Emma, who heads up our accounts keeps everything financial ticking along.

At Avent Interiors, we pride ourselves on having a dedicated team of employed site operatives serving clients throughout the Bristol, South Wales, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath, and Swindon. Our team includes a mix of multi-skilled personnel including, partition & ceiling fixers, dry liners, carpenters, painters and decorators. Our team consists of time served tradesman as well as trainees who are just starting out their journey in the world of construction.

Whilst most fit out & refurbishment companies utilise sub-contractors for most aspects of your project. We try wherever possible to have the works undertaken by our in-house team, who we know have the level of expertise required to deliver your project.
